Guest guest
Hey Tracie, My son works in Bangor at the Air National Guard at the airport. He has bee there for 2 1/2 years since his callup. Iwas back in Maine over memorial and can't believe the build up in the Portland area. Just amazing. And of course that weekend it rained all weekend. Sure glad I brought my heating pad. I am originally from Rumford in the western mountains. I know just how beautiful it is. Fall is my favorite time. I really miss the changing of the seasons. Arizona in some ways has been good for my RA. The heat is dry and when I am in a flare from my fibro nothing feels any better than the Az. sun. Monsoons will soon be arriving, that is when it starts to get humid and that is when i feel it most. Or when storms start moving in from CA. I can feel what is coming. So I guess we all have times when it is the worst. u Just got to hang on I guess. Judy ~ Still a maniac tracierae143 <tracierae@...> wrote: Hi Judy and Mike, Thanks for the support. I just needed reassurance I guess. It is such a process and I do want to get out of this flare. Sometimes you just don't know which way to turn you know? Judy I am originally from The County (Caribou), but moved down here about six years ago to a little town outside of Bangor. You must have heard of Bangor. I still like to go to Portland shopping though. They have the better stores although Bangor has grown a lot. You would be shocked. I want to move to Arizona in hopes it will help my RA. Did it help yours? I get so sick of snow here. The summers are gorgeous though. Mike thanks for responding. I appreciate it. I am glad you stayed in the group. Take care. Guest guest
Hi Judy, Wow it is a small world isn't it. I get to Bangor at least once a week if not 2-3 times. I wonder if your son knows Hal Whitten who is in the guard and has worked at the airport when his unit was called up. He lives in our small community here in Howland and goes to our church, nice family. I think you are right, no matter where you live, the RA and other autoimmune disorders are going to bother you during certain times or certain weather patterns. We all just dream of getting away from it for good huh? LOL Portland really has gotten huge and I love going there to shop and stuff. It is just great. We usually vacation in the White Mountains so I can at least get one shopping day in Portland:o) I like The Christmas Tree Shop and could spend hours in there. It has everything and is so cheap. Well, gotta run, getting beeped! Tracie > Hi Judy and Mike, > > Thanks for the support. I just needed reassurance I guess. It is > such a process and I do want to get out of this flare.
