SMOKING NEARLY TRIPLES THE RISK OF SQUAMOUS SKIN CANCER

Tobacco smokers have a nearly threefold increased risk of developing

cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma compared with those who have never

smoked, according to a report published in the January 1st issue of the

Journal of Clinical Oncology.
