Guest guest
I had such high hopes for the neurontin. I remember thinking that it was going to help so much. I was SO disappointed that it didn't. I remember feeling pretty sorry for myself. But they left me on neurontin for awhile, and at the same time... as Vioxx and Prednisone. I took all 3 for awhile.. at the same time. can you say bad stomach???
Guest guest
The neurontin did nothing for me but make me gain wt. The Topamax I am taking now does help. He keeps adjusting the dose. I heard my PM dr. crawl one of his patients one day. I not sure of all that took place but I do know the patient got him very upset and the Dr. told him he would not get more meds than what he had already given him. I think he was on Lorcet Plus. My Dr. told him that should be plenty enough for his pain. He has always been great with me and very good to listen to my concerns and try to help the best he could. but I am always afraid I will cross that line like the other patient did. Even though he has told me himself that I have very legit reason for my pain. ~:~Jena~:~ My Home Page My E-mail Re: neurontin I had such high hopes for the neurontin. Guest guest
Neurontin never did anything for me except cause constipation and give me false hopes it would help. Guest guest
Hi Tommie They had increased my Neurontin right after I got sick in April 2005. I wasn't able to tolerate it. All I did was sleep 24/7 for a month. So they lowered it back down to what I was taking before I got sick. I've had more than one person tell me that I should see if I could get it increased. Thanks for the thought though.
