Had trouble finding these at first (looking in the Stedman's Medical &

Surgical Equipment Words book under " rubber, " " band, " and various

spellings under " Mc... " and " Mac... " , but found a McGivney

hemorrhoidal ligator, which I'd bet is what the doc is referring to.
