Guest guest
Hi , I am in Texas and I have very little knowledge of TCS right now (i'm awaiting an MRI for my 1 year old) but I do have lots of experience with insurance appeals. If you choose to appeal to get the better doctors considered in-netork, be sure to think of lots of reasons how an inexperienced dr will cost them more money. For example, point out that a dr. unfamiliar with TCS could misdiagnose something, causing more visits to the dr. and possible unnecessary treatment or, as the last post stated, costly treatment for deteriating conditions that could cheaply, easily have been prevented. Unfortunately, it usually all comes down to the bottom line with insurance companies, so convince them that they will pay more in the long run if they force you to go to an inexperienced dr. Good luck! Becky
