Ulnar shortening

My wrist has been diagnosed again. Now it is ulnocarpal impaction. My

ulna (arm bone on the pinky side) is rubbing on my wrist bones when I

grip something causing the pain. The specialist I saw Friday has

suggested shortening my ulna. I meet with my regular hand doc on the

10th to discuss it .Just wondering if anyone has had this done and what

I could expect.
