Dear Alice,Thank you for your Credo about Pluto with the symbolic remarks.For me your symbols of value caused a link of recognition and learning.Heracles (Hera – cles) made two holes in the stables, then he changed the direction of the river (God) Alpheus or in Greek Alpheios, (the well of this river was in the land called Arcadia)-(Paradise) – the "water" of true life.The other river (God) was called Peneus.The streams of both rivers were made to 1 big river, that cleansed the filthy stables. The cleaning of the Augean Stables was the 5th of the 12 works of Heracles.Do I assume correct that the negative influences of Pluto have a function as cleanser and that they are not mingled with positive forces, because the positive forces will only appear after the cleansing,

My hunch is that Pluto rules the Collective Shadow or yuck that humankind has made all thro history. Jung says that when each individual dispels a part of his/her Shadow we remove that much fr the collective one. Pluto rules the process of transformation. Its orbit is so long n we have been conscious of it only 80 years. we really don't have a clue. But all the trans-Saturnian planets have a collective impact and most of humanity is just catching up to them.As I wrote, alchemy wld have it that there is gold hidden in the nigredo, n Pluto certainly rules the nigredo.

The day Pluto transited my Sun, I attended a play in which the god Pluto was a major character! quite a synchronicity!

As pluto is now in Capricorn, an earth sign, we seem to have to learn how important our planet is n how badly we misuse it.
