Guest guest
Hey girl! Sending virtual hugs to you. You are so funny! Your messages are animated...how did you do that? You are so right with the South stretching each syllable and even adding syllables, like " howyows " for house. When I talk to relatives I jump right back into it as well. Only in Atlanta have I heard southerners drop syllables and they talk very fast here. They say " lanta " for Atlanta. You will never hear the " t " pronounced in aTlanta. Sometimes you will hear them say " hotlanta. " I can't really describe the accent here, but it's not just southern, they have their own unique accent like the Louisianans (sp?) But so true everywhere else in the south that I know about, they will drag the syllables out like they want to savor every syllable. love/peace, Ebony
