Guest guest
I understand about not having time to respond. That is sooo true for me too lately. Yes, I have heard that type of accent before where people say " suppa " for supper and " cah " for car, etc....The guy that sold us this house was from Boston. I could only hear a slight accent. He had been in Atlanta a long time. It's a booming town here. Land is less expensive than the North as well. A lot of northerners are here. As for accents, I think Americans are beginning to sound more and more alike regardless of where they live in the states. I can hear a slight difference sometimes, but we are blending our accents more and more, especially the younger educated adults. I just noticed the Atlantans shorten their words quite a bit. I don't know if that happens anywhere else in America. We are used to it now though. It's been 7+ years. Yeah a chat would be nice. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Talk to you later. Take care. love/peace, Ebony
