Guest guest
Barbara, You are the first person I have heard mention the connection with tooth decay. In the past year since our water leak I have had 3 crowns and 5 cavities. I am 48 and have not had dental work like this in 20+ years! I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, hypothyroidism, and my iron stores (ferritin is 7 with low normal 15 and going up to 300). I am very iron deficient and so was my one parrot who almost died and tested + for aspergilla like I did. I have had 15 weird lesions on my leg and itching with rash across my back and upper arms, my eye sight has changed so much I cannot wear contacts anymore. I have had nailbed inflammation followed by fungal nails or nails with weird ridges. The worst is the severe joint pain and loss of balance. Is there a list of symptoms you have come across because the ones in the stachybotrys article I read did not include many of these. My house tested + for stachybotrys in the crawl space and attic but none was cultured on the main floor of the ranch house where we live. After they took out the dining room walls they found black mold and cultured it but I do not have those results yet. Most places cultured + for penicillium/aspergillus type molds, cladosporium, alternaria, paecilomyces, and several other molds in lesser amounts. They are using some type of gas followed by HEPA VAC system to remediate it. I am hoping it will finally be safe for us to return. If you can help me understand all this any better please write back. Thanks so much, Jan
Guest guest
Barbara, Somehow I deleted your information about your summer project. This is the first time I have heard about tooth decay. Could you please resend it and possibly elaborate? I have had 3 crowns and 5 cavities in the past year since our hot water pipe burst and mold took over. Previously I had no dental work for 15-20 years except for routine things. Thanks so much, Jan

Thanks so much, " Dear Jan - I'm resending my post but you should know, there are a LOT of posts in the previous messages about tooth decay, roots dying, etc. after mold exposure. In fact, Alda Brunson (who's husband is a dentist) began having pain in her teeth and had several root canals before finding mold in her Texas home. I have a theory that this happens because of the mycotoxins and the fact that everything is interconnected in our sinus area - but who knows. All I know for sure is that everytime I turn around, I'm back in the dentist's chair getting major dental work and forking over major $$$$$. Now I need three more crowns at $650 each - sheesh!
