Guest guest
Dear Marina, Yes even doctors have trouble relating to the pain caused by RA and related diseases. I think what hurts the most about that is that you are already feeling like hammered poop and then you go to the person that you know will help you with your pain (your doctor) and then maybe get the run-around. I originally thought I was crazy because my pain moved. I had to go through many trips back to the doctor and went through a lot of pain until I finally went back swollen and in so much pain I couldn't stand to be touched and then he finally referred me to a Rumey and I was then in full blown RA. At least your doctor finally saw the error of his ways, so to speak, and apologized. I wonder if any of you men out there had to go through the " try this drug " and so many mis-diagnosis's. I know the statistics say men with heart disease get more immediate treatment than women, just wondered if it is the same with RA. You are so right Marina, it does help so much to " talk " to people who know exactly what you are going through. Thanks for listening to me vent.
