Guest guest Posted April 29, 2005 Report Share Posted April 29, 2005 Hi: Two weeks ago I had a slight cold. It went away in about 2 days but after that I noticed I couldn't hear out of my right ear. Since, I am deaft since birth in my left ear this has been a big problem. I can hardly hear at all. I went to an emergi clinic and the Doctor said I have no wax but probably have water behind my ear drum. She gave me antibiotics for 4 days and referred to an Ear Doctor if it doesn't get better. Well, it is 5 days later and I still can't hear. It is very upsetting. I feel like I am in a tunnel. I am sure it is not related to my RA or anything that I have I guess. What do you think? I am getting very stressed by this and wish it was better already. I have tried everything. Does anyone have any suggestions. Please if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
