Welcome Teri and Twins!

Hi Everyone!

We have a new family joining us today! Here is what Teri had to say....

My name is Theresa (Teri) Grubb. I am married and we had twins

girls in Dec 2008 that were diagnosed with Mosaic Dow Syndrome. Emma

and Grace are 5 1/2 months old. They were born at 32 wks because I had

several Preclampsia and was hospitalized til they took them via

emergency c-section. They spent 6 wks in the Nicu and it was during

their stay that one of the doctors had suspicions about Grace. They

ran tests on both girls because they are twins and diagnosed them both

with 20% Mosaic Down Syndrome. I am interested in talking to

other families that have children with MDS and can give me insight as

to what to expect as they grow or just offer support. We have a good

support network with our family and friends, but would like some help

from other families with this too.

your new baby girls! You have come to the right place for support and I know we

have lots of families in your state as well. We will get you connected with them

right away. We also have several twins here so we can help you in that area as

well! I look forward to getting to know you and your family! Please feel free to

ask any questions you have here. We will all be very happy to share our

experiences.
