Guest guest
Here we are again.... With another pseudomeningocele. I am wondering how long your NSG waited to repair it. I am so confused, bcuz when we were with the other NSG he repaired it right away. The current NSG wants to wait.... He also said the pseudomeningocele she had last year did not have a leak. This one, does. I am so confused by that comment! Please help!! Merry Christmas & Happy Healthy New Year!! Guest guest
I have another pseudomeningocele also. My NS wants to wait also. The 1st pseudo was leaking and I was having terrible headaches so it was fixed 2 weeks after surgery but with this one I can pretty much function normally except I have some pressure where the pseudo is at (tailbone area) to which causes a lot of sciatica/leg pain. - S. tommi wrote: Here we are again.... Guest guest
Oh no, not again. I will be having my semi-annual MRI next Thursday. Blessedly it is the head not the mess in my back -- where I know things have gotten worse again. I am just not up for my annual detethering ;-) Tell I am so sorry to hear her news. On the pain clinic front, I got rejected by U of C, but am going to continue with our favorite Doc, who is only moving to Milwaukee. I live 50 miles from Milwaukee, 50 miles from Chicago -- so it doesn't matter to me at all :-) Who is seeing for a NSG? I do know, with adults, they often do not operate on pseudomeningoceles unless they cause problems. In my case they cause the cerebral tonsils to pull downwards if they leak. I did know a woman who wore a compression brace in an attempt to keep it from leaking -- LOL, it failed. > Here we are again.... Guest guest
Hey , Well I hope it is not the annual tethering. So, Dhesi is moving to Milwaukee... Tell him wants to know if he is moving to the Milwaukee Children's pain clinic! He will get a kick out of that. We are still with Frim, but we seem to have hit a wall. I don't know what to do. I can't just not do anything and accept that her future only holds pain. And, not being to sit upright. Hmmmmm So, I am going to be forced to search elsewhere maybe not for NSG but for pain services. I am really tired of being a hamster in the wheel... Where are you having your MRI?? Is it at U of C?? Chances are we will still be inpatient....oops did I forget to mention she is inpatient yet again?? We seem to have hit a wall yet again.... Frim does not know what to do! She is still not able to sit up... I just want to screammmmmmmmmmm oh, thanks for listening! Well, I am hoping the MRI is negative for a messy back. I know how bad that sucks! Happy New Year to all of you, tell Karl we said hello! Love to you all, Tommi --- Meiser wrote: > Oh no, not again.
