Guest guest
Tracie, Back pain that comes on so suddenly could be sciatica. I've had it on more than one occasion unfortunately. My mom has had it and so has my husband. It can be caused by different things. For me and my mom it was just caused by moving the wrong way. For my husband it was disc related when he was lifting a heavy cabinet. It is very painful. I'm wondering if it's related to her move. She may have exerted herself physically and is now paying the price. I'm so glad her daughter is coming home. Tawny can sure use her right now, both physically and emotionally. a On Jun 27, 2005, at 1:42 AM, tracierae143 wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I got a call from Tawny today that has me worried. Guest guest
I probably got sciatica from walking with such a heavy limp. But the one good thing that came out of it - that is when I found out about the power of water therapy. The only relief I got was going in my mom's hot tub. We went out right away and got our own. It cured my chronic sciatica. It also gave great relief to the chronic neck pain that I had. Hot tubs are great for pain free stretching and exercising as well as total relaxation, which is hard for most of us due to the chronic pain. I could never totally relax even in bed due to the pain. a On Jun 27, 2005, at 9:39 AM, Alvarez wrote: > > I agree it could be sciatica.........which is very > very painful.........pain goes from back into buttocks > and down legs............i got it from having hurt my > knee and the knee surgery.........nothing seems to > help much as it hurts to sit and stand...........i use > ice alot..........and sit in the > recliner.............do keep us posted on > Tawny.........and our prayers are answered with her > daughter coming home. Guest guest
June, When you get a chance let me know how your visit went. Hey girl, your riding in style, Will be praying for you, Tawny > Thanks so much Tracie for letting us know. I planned on phoning her but will wait until I hear from you. I am praying this is nothing too serious with her back. If you are talking to her pleas let her know I am thinking about her. I have an appt with the ortho this morning at the fracture clinic at 10:30am but from past experience I could be there for hours But I will check my mail as soon as I get home.. There is no way I can put weight on that leg so my son is sending an ambulance to take me (pays to have friends in high places LOL). > > Hugs > June > > > ---------- > > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > Version: 7.0.323 / Virus Database: 267.8.1/28 - Release Date: 6/24/2005 > > >
