Tess, I'm on trazadone- like for 10 years or so? I'm up to 150 mg.

and still have trouble getting to sleep most nights. I use the time

praying for people a lot of times, which I'm sure we all do....and

sometimes I just repeat psalms 4:8- " I will lie down and sleep in

peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. " I wonder if

anyone has tried the lunesta? sounds like it was tailor made for this

bunch- works fast, can be taken long-term if you believe the

commercials. I will be praying for you, for your poor tummy, and for

peaceful sleep. Sending cyber hugs & sleepytime tea.]

love

Jane

Amitriptoline has worked well. Ambien didn't work for me, and I have

not tried Lunesta. I am hoping to perhaps " learn " how to overcome

the insomnia and not need any more meds.

up early (like from 3-5am), but most often it is a getting to sleep

issue.
