Guest guest
I just wanted to add that I totally agree with what Kathy had said below. Me Nebraska, USA mymocha@... issue of retethering, IMO, is one that no one seems to want to touch on or make a definitive opinion about in the world of neuros and nsgs. There is a huge missing gap of data for adults with retethered cords. It almost seems like there are those professionals that don't even want to admit it is a problem. (Again, my opinion.) but I do think it's very under- reported and not discussed.
Guest guest
HI ALL BETH HERE, I JUST WENT BACK TO MY NEUROSURGEON FOR MY CHECK-UP AND HE TOLD ME THAT RETETHERING CAN HAPPEN AGAIN AFTER THE FIRST SURGERY WITHIN 5-10 YEARS. HAS ANYONE RETETHERED BEFORE THAT AMOUNT OF TIME AFTER THEIR FIRST SURGERY? IF SO, HOW SOON AFTER YOUR FIRST SURGERY DID YOU RETETHER, AND WERE YOUR SYMPTOMS THE SAME AS YOUR FIRST TETHER? THANKS, BETH
