Guest guest Posted May 26, 2005 Report Share Posted May 26, 2005 Hi! Sorry I haven't posted in a long while. I was just put on prednison yesterday. I take 5mg twice a day. Yesterday was my first full day. But I am still in a lot of pain. How long does it take for it to start helping? I thought that I would give it until tomorrow and then call the Dr. back. I am supposed to take this until I can get the Enbrel started and then start winging off. But I have to get pre-approved by the Ins. before I can start taking that. I have been in so much pain since Sunday in my hips and knees. Thanks for listening to me whine. This is such a great group of people you all have helped me so much in the past. I don't have time to read everyday at work. And at home every single time I start to get on my daughter is either reading over my shoulder or saying I want to get on the computer.
