Guest guest
we talked with bob stroud before the show, the cryan shames will be playing 4th of July again here in zion. they put on a great show last year!! check them out if you can!! anyway back to styx. it was a great show. what energy and the sound was great. my favorite was the keyboard on the pedestal that spun around..people kept throwing panties on the stage. the larry put them on!! he also ran around the stage with instant camera's an took pictures of the band members and threw them out to the audience, tommy and jy were great. chuck even came out to play a little with them. foolin yourself. our seats were 2nd balcony, but the 2nd row in center stage. nice venue.they opened with blue collar man, too much time, so many great tunes, come sail away, babe, crystal ball, snowblind then the new album big bang. they played i am the walrus, can't find my way home, i don't need no dr. they did a medley of tunes that just made you want more like superstar, mr roboto ms america. the ending (renegade) a release of confetti for the drives 4th birthday. koko taylor came out and jammed a few too. it was a fun night. pretty cool for a free party. styx threw out frisbee's beach balls sweaty towels, drum sticks, picks. shelli said she saw them roll out a cake thanks again to the drive, and randy rohrman!!! see you soon bob!!!!! faithfully Sunday mornings!! ROCK N ROLL ROOTS 9-12!! 97.1 THE DRIVE but now for the reality. i was shaky, sweaty, dizzy, i couldn't go to the railing at all. my foot was sore and shooting stars. add chest pains to that and i just feel great!!! wonder what the next show will be like with 10 x's the walking and double the crowd.
