Guest guest Posted June 25, 2005 Report Share Posted June 25, 2005 Hi Friends...I saw a gastro doc today...he has scheduled an endoscopy and a colonoscopy for next month. My friends/family are not happy that it will be almost another month, but I think it's ok...I am taking my meds, and just trying to get by. Yes. I feel crummy, but I cannot say that I think it is an emergency. I also know I am pretty weary of this. One thing he is concerned about is the amitriptoline I take for sleep problems associated with my fibromyalgia. He says that med slows the motility of the stomach and intestines - problems I do have. He feels this issue is separate from the hernia issue...I see the hernia surgeon on Monday. I have tried Trazodone for help with sleep and did not do well at all on that. Any thoughts on this?
