Guest guest
I had to look up thoracic outlet syndrome. I haven't been diagnosed with either, but I was tested for carpal tunnel syndrome and the neurologist felt that my arm and hand issues were due to vascular problems, not neurological. My carpal tunnels were just fine. ) But looking at the TOS thing, I find it odd that I haven't read anything about this before, given the symptoms (I have a bunch of them) and how much I'm online looking stuff up before I go to the doctor. I have to read more. Oh, and the whole carpal tunnel thing, these symptoms started after an auto accident in 2004. Whiplash is a wonderful thing. --- wrote: > Hi > > just curious.Anyone been told they had thoracic > outlet sydrome or > carpal tunnel then also found out they had tc or > viva versa??? > > > > Check out my blog: http://princessmatildalovestostamp.blogspot.com ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
I have all three. I have had tethered cord surgery last Oct., and I had Thoracic Outlet surgery 3 months ago. Guest guest
Hi! My daughter has been told she may have carpal tunnel or Reynauds but with these few posts I am now wondering if it is Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. What were your symptoms? What was the nature of your surgery? Did it help? Isn't one of these syndromes enough for us and/or those whom we love?? Randee In a message dated 12/17/2007 9:10:19 A.M. Guest guest
I had to look up TOS too -- I have been told that I have carpel tunnel also (but they never did any tests). When I read the symptoms for the TOS, I have alot of the symptoms of it also (although, a lot of mine seem to cross the different " types " of TOS). I too find it strange that I have never heard anything about TOS before. Especially since this can be congenital -- and you know how congenital defects love to stick together!
