Guest guest
How long did you lay flat after your surgery? Amy just had a retether released on Monday and her neurosurgeon kept her flat for 5 days (she came home yesterday). He said prior to the surgery that he might want her flat for up to 10 days depending on the condition of the dura when he closed. Guest guest
When I had the 1st un-tether when I was 10 they have me up after walking after 24 hours. For this surgery on Aug 14th (now that I am 39) I had to lay flat for 4 days and went home on the 5th day. When I had the leak fixed 2 weeks after coming home I had to lay flat for 2 1/2 days and then went home on the day I got up. I couldn't do anything for 8 weeks...I mean nothing. I am now off of restrictions to see what I can and cannot do with having this leak. Bonnie wrote: How long did you lay flat after your surgery?
