Update on Pat's Knee Problems

Hi everyone: Had my appt with ortho yesterday and went over the

results of my MRI's.........no surprises there........He wants to do

arthroscopic surgery on my left knee for torn meniscus..........and

as soon as that heals and the strained ligaments in right knee

heals, he wants to start the synvisc injections on right

knee.............I had them 2 1/2 years ago and they helped

alot............that is all he can do for right knee short of major

surgery and I am too young for knee replacement.,.........

I am so anxious to get this over and done with and to start feeling

better. The left knee problems have caused a flare in sciatica and

that has really been hard to deal with............but I have still

been going to work...............barely hanging in there. That darn

sciatic pain is pretty intense.........

Well enuf whining for now.................I am looking forward to

getting this surgery done and being on the mend...............
