Guest guest
Dear , I haven't experienced anything like that from Sjogrens Syndrome but your dentist might have hit a nerve when he deadened your gums to pull that tooth. I had a similar experience only it was my tongue that was numb, for about 6 weeks. That just about drove me crazy (or I should say crazier :-)). Hope you are better soon. Hugs, Pat (Kansas) Hi all. I have several symptoms of Sjogren's, and will get the opinion of my Rheumy when I see her on Thursday. For the past 2 weeks, I have had a numb area develop on my chin and it runs along my jaw line. I can still move my face there, it's just that it's numb and has little feeling there. I went to my family physician, and he had no clue as to what it was - (sent me for tests). I went to the dentist, had a tooth pulled that was in that area that had been causing me grief - but still the numbness is there. Anyone else experience something like this due to Sjogren's Syndrome?
