This is Camille speaking (tap, tap, tap, can you hear me?) The post

below was created by the jypsy and me. Sorry for the extra carat >>>

things.

With no intention to diminish, in any way, the current " Autism Picture

Page " , we hope to create a page that will not compete with it's

predecessor, but add to the ideal of visually presenting autistics,

with a concentration on the presentation of autistic adults - who as

we know - are underrepresented in Autism literature, web pages and in

the media. Most of the words below are jypsy's - most of my additions

are to be found in [brackets].

Feel free to ask for clarification... from jypsy --- :-) I will have

my hands full cropping 18 snapshots. Do look carefully at the mock-up

she did and click on at least a few of the " thumbnails " you find on

the opening page.

So... keeping in mind this is all just roughed up [or out].....

here is the basic concept...

if you have a digital camera - get one :) )

Personal Info:

> NOTHING is necessary

> This is just a guide:

> *name (first, first and last, nickname/pseudoname)

> *year of birth

> *where you live in the world

> *marital status, # of kids...

> *profession

> *interests, hobbies etc

> *personal webpage url (if you want a link)

> *other comments

The cropped " head and shoulders " thumbnail on the main page will be

110x150 [pixels], not the 120x160 that the test page

is. [which is to say, they will be smaller in the

proposed final draft than you see in the sample]

The original [uncropped] photo will be on the linked

page with your personal info etc.

Send photos to CAMILLE at:

autistry@...

2)They need someone to do some javascript.... they want a mouseover

script so we see the person's name [when a cursor is over a picture on the

" thumbnail " page] can someone make jypsy a template or is there more

to it than that? ( " java " to jypsy will always be in her mug...)

3)comments... suggestions... etc.... [are welcome].
