We all truly understand where you are coming from...we live with Our Dragon daily...and each day seems to bring a new trial we must face....we are here to listen to, share with you, help you where we can...I also know how you feel helpless about your father, I took care of my husband for 5 years until he went home...he suffered more then any human should have to...no one understood why I was glad when he went home....no more suffering, no more unbearable pain, no more loss of dignity. I love him so much...this was 11 years ago, he is still in my heart and will be there forever... How advance is your fathers Cirrhosis??? What doctors does he see??? What medications does he take??? I didn't even think of it being a 'violation' since I feel we are ALL in this together!!!!! I was very concerned about your comment about Dr. Whitaker and how you came across as saying that the cure to lyme seems so simple if we were to just look at the Th1..... etc. I am extremely passionate about this subject; it paralyzed me from the neck down at age 40 with 6 children and a husband that was dying at the time, having tachycardia and severe lyme symptoms. I have spent tremendous energy, time and significant $$ to the lyme community and I can't help if I feel protective of what is going on. Just wanted to let you know. I can only tolerate 1/4 flagyl tab at a time, and I only take it for three days, every other week, because the herxing is so awful! But that's good because I know it's working... and my LLMD says take it slow as I have to... the point is, I continue forward. Just my thoughts, but I wouldn't miss the flagyl portion of my treatment for anything, no matter how sick it makes me, as I understand that flagyl is THE DRUG to kill co-infections. This keeps goin back and forth and filling my mailbox with your arguements! I am on this list to find a cure for my daughter, not to monitor peoples fights! I enjoy reading about what you have researched, but I think we all got your point and i am sure if any of us are considering putting our children on this ......we would definetly research into it! It was eliminated for all the other posts that I know of. This daily digest was weird to begin with anyway. It included the daily digests from the two prior and it was if they had been forwarded to me instead of the regular post from . at it's best! Hope you all have a painfree or nearly so day. Those who have been on this site for awhile know I am on meds for my migraines and Ativan for sleep. I am not against meds. My choice is my own to go the Naturopathic route. My role in this group has always been to help people with natural alternatives to add to their life with meds or without meds. I posted the email about just to let everyone know her goal so everyone could support her. Not to make anyone wrong. Let me say that again. It was just so people could support in her goal not to make anyone in the group wrong. My advice about natural alternatives is not meant to stop anyone giving medical advice. This forum is for everyone to give and get advice. I have learned much. As in the discussion about Savella. I research and study alternatives because of the frustating things we bump up against with modern medicine. Then I share that knowledge. Again I am very sorry Michele that you felt invalidated and that you felt I don't honor other's advice. I could not have wanted anything less.
