Guest guest
For those of you with uncontrollable itching I'm not sure what they've tested you for ...but there can be a number of systemic reasons for the problem. Please keep trying to investigate it's cause because problems with your thyroid any your lymphatic system can cause uncontrollable itching. (both could be serious) Also (and I only know about this because I have a friend who has it) you have had problems with allergies in the past and if you have anything that looks like bruising maybe you might want to investigate is a rare disorder called Mastocytosis. My friend itches constantly and nothing topical helps. Instead she's treated with massive amounts of antihistamines. With mastocytosis she's constantly itching. Before she was diagnosed she was treated for a number of auto-immune disorders (because the disease also causes joint pain and fatigue). An allergist (a good one) is one of the few doctors who know how to make a diagnosis. Just a FYI.....but I can only imagine how uncomfortable you are.....
