Guest guest
Hi fellow members: This is Colletti. I don't post too much but I usually read all the posts everyday. However, I thought this little story was worth mentioning. I bought a Blood pressure monitor about 6 months ago and it had been working fine. I even had my Doctor check it out. Well, I have high blood pressure and 2 days ago I noticed my pressure to be normal. 120/70, 110/60 etc. although I started to be getting a bad headache. I bought the machine because my old one was getting difficult to use but it still worked. Well, last night I could'nt sleep all night I was a bundle of nerves and my head hurt something fierce. Well, again this morning my BP read 100/60 I was afraid to take my BP pills with it reading that low, so I didn't. This morning out of the blue I decided to check my BP on the old BP monitor. Well, what do you know, it read 220/132. I couldn't believe it. I was really stunned. I thought for a min maybe the old one was wrong but than it dawned on me, I wouldn't have this terrible headache if my BP was low. So, I took my medicine and slowly I saw my BP come down on the old machine. I called the place where I bought it and they said they would take it back in exchange for a new one. I am getting back to normal now. I know I could have had a stroke and I thank God I didn't. I just thought I would tell this story in case anyone is in a similar position. Remember a machine is just a machine and they can break too. So just be aware if you find yourself with this problem. Thanks for listening. God bless you all.
