Guest guest
I have had the privilege of meeting Kreed Vercelli and his family in Mesa, AZ. Carie has a very full plate - ie, Kreed is bountifully blessed with challenges of the autism type. His parents care with a profound dedication similar to that of the other autism families I've visited this trip. Soon, I and II (the " classic antique " Toyota Rv, 1980 vintage) will journey forth towards Sante Fe (via either Gallup or Las Cruces, then onwards to Denver and Estes Park. Visiting the several families is an enriching experience that provides insights about specific children and does so in ways not readily apparent in other ways. For an isolated, hermit-like researcher, the first-person perceptions give substance to words that flow endlessly on computer screens. For an aspergerian, this year's travels have also provided glimpses of, brief immersions within family processes that solitudinal life left behind years ago. A heartfelt thanks to each of the families who have so warmly hosted these visits.
