Tess,

Soy is hidden in our foods. Other possible sources of soy or soy

products:

flavorings

hydrolyzed plant protein

hydrolyzed vegetable protein

natural flavoring

vegetable broth

vegetable gum

vegetable starch

My husband is allergic to MSG, which is also disguised as " natural

flavoring " so I avoid anything with natural flavorings.

We don't eat very much meat either and my husband eats only a minute

amount of dairy so I'm often wondering if we get enough protein.

We do eat fish almost every day, so we're probably ok.

I'm glad to be still learning too. Knowing what to eat can be SO

confusing.
