Everywhere I look on the web is see definitions on Bronch. I want to learn care.

Can you be more specific? in the meantime I want to direct you to a website where you can get information on Pulmonary Rehab techniques..it's through the A1AD's Big Fat Reference Book..and you maybe able to find what you're looking for there..you can Log In as Guest..Sandie in MD

Hi Debbie,

You might find it more comfortable to lie over two pillows sideways (from the hip) which will give you a good slant to drain the mucous. I do 15 minutes each side, twice daily on the bed. If you are flexible, you can do percussion (with cupped hands) on your back (thoracic area) to help loosen the gunk, or someone in the family could do it for you. It is a good idea to ask for a referral to a respiratory physiotherapist, to see how it is done. The therapist will also give you tips on deep breathing in cycles, use of flutter, acapella and other helpful hints. For me, postural drainage and percussion work the best. The devices are not so helpful. My lower lobes are worst affected, so I need to drain. We are all different, you will need to find out what lobes are affected and the therapist will work out the best treatment plan. Hope this helps some, and good luck.

Merry Christmas to you, and all our wonderful members.

Love Bunny
