Guest guest
Mike, Sorry to feel that you are not getting any support from the group. I hope you're not feeling that way because noone answered this post of yours. Not everyone checks their computers regularly (especially on the weekends), I've noticed that everyone has been very quiete lately, and many of us have no answer for your question so have been hesitant to answer. I have never heard of this happening.... As for why your friend got better, I can only think of two possible reasons (and they are only theories). 1) he was perhaps misdiagnosed (?) so he has improved since being removed from the meds or 2) he was having some sort of allergic reaction to the meds that he was on and being removed from them made him feel better. I'm not sure how likely either of those two answers are - they are just theories... Did his doc perhaps increase his pred dose? Mike, I hope you decide not to leave, but if you do, good luck to you!!! McK from VA - curently in NM... > i have a friend with R.A. he was on enbrel mtx. and pred. and alot of othe meds. and he started to get bumps all over . his rhuemy took him off everything but pain meds and pred. 20mg. and he is doing better. no swelling. just pain. the doc told him everything worked in reverse on him. DUH!!!!! how is this possible. if my doc done that to me i'd be in a wheelchair. THANK YOU MIKE
