I have been denied 3x and have been fighting for it since 1996. My Dr helped me fill out all my paper work this time not just his part and I have gotten farther this time than I ever got before. I have 5 Drs and several pts and they all ssay I am disabled so ... I'll Keep my fingers crossed for you (as well as I can anyway LOL). ( medical wise) My dr wants me to lose 60lbs andf stop smoking then get evulated but I kinda feel like you do. I dont know if I'll even qualify, I too had a heart cath done 3 yrs ago and had a 60% blockage then. Vicky81856 IPH/pf 4/06 This is exactly what they told me at my evaluation. Except I don't smoke. Well, my Pulm. Dr. said that was a nice way of saying you don't qualify...in his opinion. He wants me to get a 2nd evaluatiin. <shrugs>...who knows? (scary huh. ) next time your Doc frowns about increasing your O2 , tell him to keep his mouth closed for one min. then hold his nose.. He'll get the idea..
