Guest guest Posted June 3, 2005 Report Share Posted June 3, 2005 You guys have all been so great with all my RA stuff I have been going through That I would appreciate any thoughts and prayers I could have as I am facing another situation not related with the RA I went to the doctor the other day for a sore throat and tested for strep since I teach in a daycare and had 8 kids with it but i don't have that but the doctor said my thyroid gland was enlarged so he sent me for a ultrasound That came back as a goiter so they had me do blood work I am told it didn't come back as well as they would like. Now I have to have a thyroid scan and thyroid uptake test. I go fot that on the 23 they say it could be almost anything-from just thyroid disease to cancer. Please pray that it is not cancer.
