Robotic Surgery On Friday

Okay guys, after months of looking at different treatments (HIFU, seeds, proton, etc, etc)its finally come. Looking back since I was diagnosed in June, I think I was delaying the whole process of reality. Whats so weird is that because I feel the same as always, the reality of this disease still has not hit me yet. I can honestly say I have seen about 5-6 doctors for their opinions. I still feel a sense of denial. Its as if I expect a phone call from one of the doctors to tell me that they all mis-diagnosed me:) Anyway, I had decided on robotic surgery at M.D. but changed to Baylor College of Medicine after meeting Dr. Miles. So on November 17th about 8:00 a.m. I will be under the robot. I'm 54 and my youngest child will be 8 years old in December. I feel that I am doing this for them more so than for me. The crying is over and its time to face the music.Heres a big'ol Texas see yall later in the month good-bye. Thank God my wife is a nurse. She has relly been there for me. All my whining and complaining...lol!

Funny I was thinking something similar this

morning....

There is noting to feel with this cancer.. ITs not

like we have lots of painn.... ok difficulty in

urinating, but thats because of BPH. People ask me how

I feel...

I feel fine!! IM not in pain.. the denial is there in

the background, making put off what I really need to

do. Monday I meet my surgeon for the first time.

Im not going to do a lot of shopping around... He ONLY

does robotic surgery and has had extra intershio for

this. He also teaches and qualifies other Drs on how

to use the DaVinci machine... Just a mtter of

trust.... I dont think he will be a obnoxious SOB, but

a caring and capable dr.

Ill let you all know on Monday evening....

IN the meantime, Ill send you off sone Reiki healing

for confidence and quick recovery. My thoughts are

with you.

I have both a prayer circle and a distant healing circle (Reiki), If anyone would like either, or both, the email addresses are:

Prayer Circle: TheDivineTouch

Distant Healing Circle: ReikifireHealing

I attribute my fast recovery and mild side effects directly to receiving Reiki both in pre-op and in the surgical ICU.

Peace,

K'sitew
