Guest guest Posted December 2, 2010 Report Share Posted December 2, 2010 Hi Alice, all, The progression goes: there was a "correction" to your use of the term "people of color" which "correction" suggested we're all people of some color, otherwise we'd be invisible. *G* That led to my telling of an instance when I was refused a scholarship to a workshop because scholarships were reserved for "people of color" and apparently the person on the telephone knew in some way that I wasn't a "person of color." It wasn't until later that I realized I'm sort of pink and that's a color. *G* Then Mike said something about that sort of grayish-pink you sometimes see in dreams. I refuted that with the suggestion he was more properly referring to an out-of-body experience wherein he appeared as a extraterrestrial being in someone else's reality. He laughed.
