Lynne,

Welcome, I just joined this list too about a month ago. Have not posted

about myself yet, but will soon. I thought I had a rough life but no where

near what yours has seemed to be. I admire you for using writing as a way

to help others and to be a Public Speaker... what do you speak on? I am

interested to know more if you want to email me off list..... suziqm@...

Hi everyone,

I just joined this group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Beth Blue, and I'm from Virginia. I was diagnosed with Fibro 4 years ago, but I've had it at least since I was 4 years old. (Four is the earliest memories I have of being in pain.) I don't take any prescription meds anymore, but occasionally take OTC stuff like Excedrin (seems to work the best for me), Tylenol, aspirin, Advil and Percogesic at night so I can get to sleep. It's nice to find a group like this!

Other stuff about me: I live in Virginia with my three sons (ages 12, 7 and 2), my boyfriend and five cats. I'm a horror writer and the secretary of the Mid-Atlantic Horror Professionals. Don't really have any hobbies anymore because there doesn't seem to be time, between helping with homework, breaking up fights (amongst kids and cats), diaper changing, temper tantrums, writing, cleaning, cooking, laundry and last, but not least, sleeping! I read a lot, when I do have spare time, though.

That's about it. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi Tony,

Welcome to the community.

I take neurontin for my pain. Of course you'd have to go see a doctor about

that. You might also think about going on an antidepressant. Or you could

try some vitamin B12 - it is supposed to help mood.

Hugs,

Sierra
