Guest guest
Hi all, My name is Kim, and my husband, Chuck was diagnosed with Pca, psa 6.5, Gleson 3+4 7 in Oct. He is 72 years old. Both of us did weeks of research, and finally settled on the Proton/radiation therapy in Loma Ca. He had 19 treatments of Proton, and is half way through the radiation. He has done very well, but started to get much gas and loose stools last week. After about two days of this, I bought him some yogurt with the probiotic bacteria, and he was better in few hours, and has no problems since. There is a man who was also having the same problem, and my Chuck told him about the yogurt, and he also has been fine since. Both of them told the Dr. and he was very interested in it, and said, " I must tell everyone about this. " So, my point is, that many people going through radiation in the pelvic area may want to try this. It can't hurt. I just figured that the radiation kills all of the bacteria in the colon, like anti-biotics do. It does seem to work. At any rate, Chuck, and Ken, are still doing well. Oh, and the people who just have the proton treatment do not have any problems. I wish you all well, and if the yogurt works for you, spread the word.
