Do any of you have problems with your trigger points itching and

burning, esp. the ones around your shoulders and shoulder blades?

That's been driving me crazy! (I know, driving me crazy is a pretty

short trip!) Of course, when you scratch it just further flares up the

trigger point, so it's kind of like telling a little kid not to

scratch chicken pox. I have remicade this thursday, but is this one

of those things where they say, " it's just part of the disease

process. " I tell ya I get so tired of hearing that one.....I think

if I painted myself blue they'd say that was part of the process

too....:o)

There are times where the base of my neck and shoulders feel like they

are on fire. It is horrible, and I can't do anything about it.

Luckily, it usually goes away after a few hours. Lately I've had this

really deep " itch " in my neck. Itch isn't the best way to describe

it...it is that feeling you get when you need to stretch of flex your

muscles, or get the urge to " pop " a joint...you know the feeling?

Only no matter how much I stretch or flex or pop, it doesn't go away.

It's been driving me absolutely insane. Dr. changed my sleep meds,

since it started about 2 weeks after I started this stuff, and it is

slightly better today, but now I feel it in my armpits instead of my

neck. Argh!
