Guest guest
From an ACS newsletter this month. This came from the National Office in Atlanta. Thank you to the Maine Coalition for the heads up from this newsletter. September 2005 This month we shift our focus to childhood and ovarian cancers. It's National Childhood Cancer Month as well as National Ovarian Cancer Month. We've collected a group of stories from childhood and ovarian cancer survivors that show the power of hope and determination. I wonder why they did not acknowledge National Prostate Cancer Month? I know that some local offices have recognized September but this is just another example of the ignoring of PCa by some US national cancer interests. However, there is also power in one person, and oftentimes it takes a visionary to step forth, to break new ground, to look at something differently, and to set an idea in motion.
