Darlene,

I had nice hair too:( It started falling out before being diagnosed

with anything, and taking no meds. I have been on MTX for awhile, and

taking the Folic does help. Since I have added the Plaquenil, now I'm

losing my hair again, it's so frustrating.

It is hard to accept all the changes with our disease, but we just

have to keep our chin up. I will keep you in my prayers, and I'm here

if you need to chat, Tawny

Thanks Tawny. I know I need to try and stay positive. It's just do

you find when one thing seems to be getting better, you get hit with

another. I'm sure everyone has that. It is hard to accept things

getting different when you were used to them being good. I had

never been sick before RA. I do try to stay occupied with reading

and my dog-he's a lifesaver. I'm on disability right now so I'm at

home. Thankfully it's summer where I am now although this year I'm

finding the warm weather isn't doing me as much good as it seemed to

last year. Could be the rain we keep getting though-LOL.

How long have you been diagnosed with RA Tawny?

Hi Darlene,

It is hard to cope with, that is why you can always come here. We can

lift your spirits, and try to make it a lot easier. We all go through

these emotions.

I'm also home on disability, and so I know we have a lot of time to

think. Just take one day at a time, and just do the best you can.

Take care, Tawny
