Hi from Atlanta

Hey there, Ebony ... I am in Atlanta (actually a suburb south of the city --

Peachtree City area). Anyhow, I was officially diagnosed back in December,

although I have been challenged with this for about 3 years. I am currently

on MTX, Lunesta (LOVE IT FOR SLEEP!), Davocet as needed, Aleve, Prevacid,

Zocor, Estradial, Lisonopril ... and some other stuff. It's like a pharmacy

here!

Anyhow, I am working hard to stay active. I used to swim a lot and the

water is wonderful. So kind to the body! I am just about to get back into that

again with the warmer weather. I joined Curves because I figured 30 minutes

is doable and I just use the machines that are working best for me that

particular day and then skip the others. I do a yoga DVD called Yoga for

Inflexible People and it is great (see _www.bodywisdommedia.com_

(http://www.bodywisdommedia.com) ). I feel like I need to walk a bit in the

evenings but am

usually too pooped by then to bother with it. I would like to start taking a

little walk at least around the loop in my neighborhood. Like you, I recognize

the need to keep moving!

I also like to use meditations, visualizations, prayer, relaxation,

journaling and quiet time. I find that turning OFF the TV and tuning IN to my

body

is just about the best thing I can do for my overall well-being given the

circumstances I have.

I do work, but I am incredibly blessed (like over the top blessed, I know!)

to be self-employed and work from my home. It's a real luxury, I know, and I

am really grateful. I work as a professional life and biz coach so most of

my work is via phone and email (except when I work with groups in businesses

or if I were to give a speech or something) Fortunately, today's technology

allows us many more options from home.

Tell me more about you! I know each of us has our own unique path to

healing ...

Love and Prayers,

Beth
