Guest guest
Thanks for the article...I was beginning to think I was the only person that was still on gold in the world...I was worried they'd take it off the market for lack of use, but maybe now it'll come back to favour! I just want to attest to the effectiveness of the combo. I've been on gold 14 years with Plaquenil and had very good results...2 years ago, my RA worsened significantly but not to as bad before I started the gold. Last year they added MTX to the gold and it's the best I've ever done...The two do seem to work great together and I've had no extra side effects....it is pretty cheap too...its just a bit of a pain to pee in a cup and get blood tested before every shot. (it can be hard on the kidneys and the two together sometimes cause more incidence of decreased WBCs) Lexi
