Guest guest
In what I have seen/heard I feel the opposite is happening.......that they wait and see more now. Of course there are many factors that that can depend on.......but generally, that is the way it has appeared to me. I agree, that is very concerning. Seems like some have gotten away from that viewpoint, but I guess we can't expect everybody to abandon it, I don't know why, though. lol Brande mymocha@... Back when Kathy and I were diagnosed (mid to late 1990s) the tendency was to wait and watch almost everyone who was not symptomatic with TC. Over the years I've seen the trend change to operate when discovered - and am now observing a slow swing back One of my concerns is for children who have repeated TC releases - 3, 4, even more(!) before they reach their teens - and their parents are being told that once their child stops growing, all will be fine. I worry about the scar tissue increasing with each operation, he increased risk of archnoiditis, and what will happen to them, when they do reach adulthood.
