I feel badly that our soldiers are going thru such hardships, such pain and suffering....but you know what? Us Viet Nam soldiers, especially in groups like mine, that served " cross border, Special Operations Groups " , well, WE had the same knowledge that was mentioned in that beautiful and toughing thing that Judith Voter felt enough of, to " send on " .... No one ever cared for us. I was spit on. Called Baby killer. dispised. And OUR tactics , our way of " field Operations " was largly resposible for the way toay's soldiers carry on. I would have wanted just one perdson to have said " thank you " to me....but for us, there was no ticker tape parades. I am NOT putting down today's soldier. NOT AT ALL! It's a tough job. I congratulate them! But no one ever gave a darn, when i held a buddy in my arms as he died. You know what? Now? it doesn't matter anymore. we are old, ancient news. But we're still out there. All my love to you, and I hope I haven't stepped on any toes. If I have, then please accept my apologies.
