Wow, Beth,

That would have PISSED me off! What's in there - national secrets? How dare

they not let you have access to what's in your file. As far as I know, we have

a legal right to see everything in their files. I worked in law for 10 years,

the last five as a paralegal. I never had any trouble getting medical records

from the doctors of our clients. And I've never had any trouble getting one

office to send copies to a new doctor either. So why would it bother them if we

want to see our own information and what's in there?

I think our healthcare system is in major need of an overhaul, as well as the

insurance industry. I'm just not sure what the best answer is. I really did

like Bill Clinton's " one form " system that he proposed way back when, but I'm

not normally a democrat, and I'm kind of afraid of Hillary. LOL
