Guest guest
Thank you so much for the update on our precious girl. She and her family will be in all our thoughts and prayers, and is terribly missed. Going on the road is tough for healthy folks much less someone in the middle of a flare. God bless her. jane --- In , " tracierae143 " <tracierae@u...> wrote: > Hello everyone, > > I got a " real " letter from Tawny today. She is at least alive. I > was so worried. Guest guest
Hi Tawny, I am a new member since you have been gone but have seen the concern about you written here. I can't imagine the stress you are managing, all you are going through plus the worry over your daughter. I will add you and your family to my prayer list and look for updates. Nice to meet you. Hugs, Pat (Kansas) Message: 5 Date: Sat, 04 Jun 2005 19:58:19 -0000 From: " tdianaok " <tdianaok@...> Subject: I'm so glad to be back! It's been a rocky road, but finally back online. I just got my PC out of the shop today, and so glad it's working. I have dial up, but it's better then nothing. I have missed everyone so much. Thanks to all the wonderful friends that sent me letters and cards, I needed them so very much. I know how tough it is to take the time to write, and your just so appreciated. At the last moment we found out that the home we were buying fell through. So, we were in a motel for awhile, also was on the road for awhile with hubby, and you can imagine how that was. We did find a rental home, and so that is where I will plant my butt for awhile. Also, my oldest daughter(23) has been missing since March 31. So, you can imagine what I have been going through. I have done everything in my power to find her. I just stay close to the phone, and wait for any news at all. She was suppose to report for her military training in May, but she never showed. She is now considered AWOL, she has been in the military 6yrs, and had a year left. I went to my new rheumy, and was diagnosed with Lupus. He took me off the Humira, and now on Plaquenil. I hope it starts working soon. I go back this month to have my right hip x-rayed, and lab work. I've been having problems with the hip, and my blood work is totally out of wack. Thanks Tracie for getting the word out, and thanks to all the support. Welcome to all the new members, and hope to hear from everybody. I will keep everyone in my prayers. Guest guest
Tawny, Hey gal! How are you holding up? Bone spurs, crappy! Is that RA of the spine? Do you have it in the cervical part? I'm extremely curious about RA of the spine!!!! I have spurs at C5-6 and C6-7. I have never had a baseline x-ray as of yet. Tried to get one today with no luck. I told the doc about how bad the verigo is and that over the weekend I considered going to the hospital because it was really difficult to breathe!!!! So, needless to say - I'm really getting scared. Mainly because the doc will absolutely not do anything within normal for me. He pushed on my neck and said that PT was the best thing to get rid of the pain. If I'm not better in a month then he might consider a MRI or CT scan. I'm hoping at least PT can document the pain and decreased range of motion. It was weird when he was pushing on my neck because I broke out in an immediate sweat. You would think that any normal person would at least consider an x-ray b-4 sending ya to move about. Sometimes, I wish that my neck would just snap so they'd get it! I think that my neck is unstable? The littlest things cause injury to my spine. Riding in the car is an absolute ordeal. Every trip is like an episode of survivor. I have other spinal stuff going on as well. I have facet disease and my lower back has fused itself already. Are you shrinking? I've lost 4 inches in 3 years. You would think that was strange or a sign but they haven't seemed concerned. Probably my head acting up again! I'm just glad your doc is checking things and trying to do something for you! I pray for you and will continue to pray for you throughout! Please keep us posted somehow. Guest guest
Kim, I don't think the bone spurs is connected with RA. The problem is a disc in my lower back, that's causing all the pain. I do have some arthritis in the lower back. I also have neck pain, have had it for a long time. I take Flexeril for it, and it helps quite a bit. I haven't really lost any inches. Your in bad shape, Kim. You sure do need to get some answers. Have you thought of finding a new doc? That is what I would do. You don't a doctor that doesn't want to help you. I will keep you in my prayers, you take care of yourself. Tawny > Tawny, Hey gal! How are you holding up? Bone spurs, crappy! Is > that RA of the spine? Do you have it in the cervical part? Guest guest
Hi Judi, I'm glad you got some rain, and not too much. Could you send some this way? It's really hot and miserable this way. I would like to be somwhere where I could enjoy the summer without being cooped up in the house. Maybe a tropical island, I can dream, Oh, I'm sorry that you have to suffer like that because of the weather. Hey, glad you had a good day with your grandson. I know that made your day. I will talk to the doctor on the next appointment. The funny thing is, they are in another office on Monday, when they gave them out. At least the company knows, so there will not be any problems, if I need to order early. The patch is relieving a little of the pain, but not much today. I'm a little depressed today too, so just feeling lousy. Just one of those days, but just dealing with it. Well, you take care of yourself. I hope the weather is decent for you, lower that pain. I will be praying for you, take care Tawny > Hi Tawny, > > Glad you got your patches, but I am still fuming about what they did to > you.
