humidity, RA

Hello from hot and humid Wisconsin. Humidity—especially stormy weather—bothers

me considerably. My pulmonologist

told me that people with lung problems usually have problems with

humidity. I take Singulair for it

and it does help some but not completely.

Very cold air also bothers me.

I had a dream recently that I couldn’t breathe. I woke up panicked with my chest hurting

so I think I must have really been having problems even though I was breathing all

right when I woke up.

I have also heard of a connection between bronch and RA. My mother has RA so I keep wondering if

that’s something that will be in my future. My internist recently did a blood test

for it because of my family history and the fact that my joints ache from time

to time. Fortunately that test came

back negative (unlike a few other tests).

Welcome to the new members. Please keep us informed about what your

doctors tell you. Who knows, they

may have brilliant insight and we’ll all benefit.
