Guest guest
I already posted this on CK2, so sorry if you've seen this already! Anyway, I'm in need of a bigger car, so we're in the process of buying a mini-van. As I was doing a test-drive earlier this week, it occurred to me that I should be worried about the toxins/chemicals in the cloth/leather finish of the new car. I've researched this online, and there's lots of stuff about how toxic the new car smell is, but nothing about what to do about it. Is there a way to neutralize this (sort of like neutralizing carpet by turning up the heat for 48 hrs or something like that)? Or is my only option to buy a used car? If so, will a one- year old car be OK? Thanks for any advice. Angie
