Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who replied to my question about the risks of infection. It was enlightening to read of other's experiences with being employed in a school or other similar settings. Thanks for the article about teachers and immune disorders as well; that was scary but it's important to be informed! I don't think I've ever told my rheumy or been asked what I do for a living, but I'll be sure to bring it up next time we meet. I have until June to decide what I'll do for next school year... I've got another cold even as I write this. (wouldn't you know? I see kindergarten/1st grades on Thursday, and I've figured out that I often get sick on Friday or Saturday. I am religious about handwashing, but still...) I don't stop taking MTX or Humira if I've just got an upper respiratory thing going ~ I delay taking if I've got a chest cold or fever or a sinus infection. Do most of you stop your meds if you just have a cold virus? Deborah
Guest guest
Just to be on the safe side, I do delay my Enbrel even if I just have a cold.
